Fruit Powders

Fruit Powders

Most of our fruit powders are freeze-dried. In this process (also known as lyophilization), foodstuff is frozen and subjected to vacuum, removing the water from the cells through sublimation, thereby preserving the nutrients, color, flavor and format of the ingredients. Water removal allows for product stability and a much longer shelf life at room temperature, without the need to add preservatives. Some products are available in spray-dried format and dehydrated formats, which constitute other convenient drying technologies.

Açai

Açai is the fruit of a palm tree from the Amazon. Widely known as a superfruit, the açai is highly nutritious and very energetic. We only use top quality açai due to our ability to efficiently monitor the entire production chain in depth, inspecting the producers before approving them as suppliers. Both factors allied to a careful freeze-drying process yields a unique and superior ingredient.
