Verum Ingredients becomes NOP certified

Verum Ingredients’s certification as a trader of organic products was granted by IBD Certifications in Botucatu – Brazil, which is the largest USDA accredited agent in Latin America. The inspection was performed according to the USDA organic regulations at our premises at the Botucatu Technology Park and verified that Verum’s practices are in compliance with the requirements for organic products. The entire trading process was checked with regards to data registry, identity of suppliers and sources, product quality, traceability, adequate transport and delivery and, availability of a consumer complaint and recall program.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) coordinates the National Organic Program (NOP) that regulates the production, handling, labeling and marketing of organic products within the US market.

Verum Ingredients has been building its portfolio throughout the years by carefully selecting high quality raw material suppliers and processers of its botanical ingredients and extracts. Our choices always favor organic produce from sustainable agriculture supply chains which are environmentally and socially responsible.

We rely on our Brazilian operations to identify these partners in order to expand our product offerings in the North American market with premium quality ingredients from traceable sources.
