Building a New Supply Chain
We supported a CPG company at risk of a supply shortage of a freeze-dried fruit snack. Specifically, we helped them develop a new supply chain in Brazil. Working closely with our Brazilian manufacturing partner, Liotécnica Tecnologia em Alimentos, we covered all aspects of the project. This included identifying growers, obtaining raw material organic certification, overseeing processing, and ensuring final approval of the product and documentation by our customer’s Quality Control team
Developing a New Product
We collaborated with a local Distributor to enhance one of its top-selling products. Through close collaboration with Liotécnica in Brazil, we not only developed the new and improved ingredient but also established a multi-ton business. This venture now boasts an integrated and resilient supply chain, ensuring consistent quality and availability of the product.
Upcycling food side streams
We collaborated with an organic, gourmet coffee grower in Brazil to introduce the finest coffee fruit (also known as Cascara) to the market. Our coffee fruit stands out due to its exceptional quality, stemming from organic farming practices and meticulous harvesting techniques used in the production of gourmet coffee. Additionally, we implemented a final steam sterilization step, ensuring a flavorful ingredient with the best microbiology profile available in the market.
